I have 4 of my 6 kids swim and quite a few stories to tell!!  Three stories come to mind...my 15 year old who was seeded first missed the finals at JO's in the 50 Butterfly when she was 11-12 because she was in the bathroom thinking the event was later in the meet.  My 10 year old son was recently seeded first in the 50 Butterfly at JO's but finished in 18th place because he forgot to tie his swim suit which fell down to his knees after the start.  And finally, my 10 year old son who only qualified for the 50 Butterfly at the Zone Meet last year ended up getting DQ'd because he false started and never even competed in the meet!

On a positive note...my daughter makes sure she knows when all her events are, my son now ties his suits, and he hasn't had a false start again!!
